Got my smog check done for under $50, and was in and out in less than 40 minutes. Eric helped me and he was super nice and patient when I called for info two times in 5 minutes :) I walked to Starbucks while they were working on it, and I could have even walked to Walmart if they needed it longer. Great location, easy parking, clean office, and employees that aren't the usual womanizing mechanics. Loved it! - Customer Review

There are times when you just don't need to have one more thing go wrong.  Say, for example, when you're a week and a hundred miles from home, coping with personal loss, in the middle of the night.  It's times like that when "just one more thing" is really uncalled for.  And when "just one more thing" is your car breaking down, stuck in park on a two lane bridge, blocking traffic leaving a baseball game on a Friday night, you can get a little frazzled.

But then, when "just one more one more thing" is the same car breaking down AGAIN after replacing the battery, the afternoon before said personal loss is brought to closure, and said car's passengers have to drive 100 miles home to get back to work, one might be inclined to throw one's hands up in the air and exclaim "FORGET YOU, WORLD!" Sometimes, though, help is out there.  You might have to pay a small chunk of change for it, but if you can find someplace like Auto Care by Kenely, then "just one more one more thing" can be taken off your plate.

The car went into their shop at 8am, after a quick and professional tow by Performance Towing.  After listening to the car's symptoms and our woeful tale, the shop's service representative hopped out to get some number from the car, and returned with an estimate for cost and time.  We were assured that if everyone's guess was right, and the problem laid in the car's alternator, then we would have the car back by the afternoon. In fact, the work was completed just an hour after noon.  The total was a smidge more than the initial estimate, but nary enough to complain about.  The car operated perfectly the rest of the day and for the long drive home.

Auto Care by Kenely isn't the kind of place where they wash your car after servicing it or offer other frills.  But they get the job done, have been working on cars for 15+ years, and, I think, can be relied upon in a pinch.  For someone like me, who can change the oil, a tire or a battery, but little more, that counts for a lot. - Paul B.

We have been clients for almost twenty years. LOVE THEM!!! Love their honesty, integrity, kindness, and friendliness. It is important to be able to trust the people who work on your car!  These people are "it"!!! Explains why they have so many long-time, loyal customers! - Joy J.

I been taking my vehicles to Kenely for years and they have a great staff who with a lot of knowledge! I would highly recommend them. - James M.

We've used Kenely's for as long as we've lived in the area, with several cars. Never had a problem, always impressed by their professionalism, service, quality and efficiency. Clean garage, convenient location, friendly people. We will continue to use them as our "go to" mechanic. - Peter O.

My 1998 Ford Explorer needed a smog check for a registration renew. I tried two places and got the same problem: the engine RMP couldn't hold 2500RPM for the smog test; I was referred to Kenely for smog related repair. Kenely was able to pass the smog test without additional repair/cost. And the smog check price is the best among the three shops I visited. Outstanding! - Jonathan L.

My dad and I have been bringing our vehicles to Kenely's for about 10 years now. They are always courteous, the shop is clean, they are up front with information and make sure you know and understand exactly what they're going to do before they do it.

I just recently dropped my car off for an oil change. In the last year or so my car (2006 Scion TC) has been losing oil a lot quicker than normal but there was no visible sign of a leak until this last time Kenely's was able to locate the problem. They called me within just about an hour of having my car to let me know the problem and gave me an estimate. They also stated my belt would need replacing. As I keep my car regularly serviced and I have not replaced it as yet (I've had the car for 8 years now) I knew I could trust them on this information.

Additionally, I know them to be true to their word regarding the warranty on their parts and labor. About a year and a half ago I needed my clutch replaced.  Just over a year later I started to notice an abnormal noise coming from my clutch. It turns out a bearing had gone bad, which had been a piece they initially replaced. Since I was still within the two years of my warranty they replaced the bearing free of charge.

Autocare by Kenely's is a great shop and I will continue to take my car to them. - Alissa R.

There seems to be a common misconception among many that if you have an aftermarket/extended warranty, that your car, truck, SUV, or Jeep must be taken to a dealership. This is not true. Non-dealership / Independent Automotive repair shops can service and repair your new or UNDER WARRANTY/EXTENDED WARRANTY. As a positive, at our shop, you can get fast service and work with highly trained technicians!  We'd love to take care of your vehicle for you and can do so right here at our automotive shop. Repairs by highly rated and trained automotive technicians with dealer rated diagnostic tools, at BETTER PRICING by a shop that knows you!

It is a law that independent automotive repair shops can maintain and service your warranty. All consumers are protected by the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, which is enforced by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). It prohibits a manufacturer from voiding the new vehicle's warranty or a vehicle's extended warranty because service was performed by a Non-Dealer/Independent Repair shop.

Per the FTC, “It's illegal for a dealer to deny your warranty coverage simply because you had warranty work or routine maintenance or repairs performed by our automotive shop. Routine maintenance can include anything from oil changes, tire rotations and belt replacement, to fluid checks, flushes, new brake pads, and inspections.” It is also important to note that the “Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act makes it illegal for a company to void your warranty or deny coverage under the warranty for the simple cause that you used an aftermarket or recycled part.”

One of the major perks of bringing your vehicle to an independent repair shop is the ability to make your money go further. Many times, warranties will have a limit or a deductible. Our goal is to make your warranty work for you.

Lastly, If you are on the fence about whether or not to purchase an AFTERMARKET or EXTENDED warranty. We suggest opening a savings account for your car and putting back money for possible breakdowns. While warranties are great the limitations can sometimes outweigh the benefits.

Whichever option you may choose we will be there for you every step of the way! We look forward to taking care of your new or under extended/aftermarket warranty, car, truck, SUV, or Jeep right here. Give us a call today!
